Oluce Pascal 345/L Floor Lamp – Dual Glow 1983 Design by Vico Magistretti

Designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce
Design Vico Magistretti, 1983
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1983 for Oluce, the Pascal 345/L floor lamp is an emblem of modern Italian design, seamlessly blending geometric precision with functional innovation. Defined by its distinctive dual-cone structure, the Pascal floor lamp embodies the philosophy of form meeting purpose, enhancing contemporary interiors.
Its sculptural composition features two stacked, inverted conical shades, delicately balanced on a sleek metallic base. The upper cone houses an integrated LED circuit, providing indirect ceiling illumination, while the lower cone accommodates two E27 bulbs, directing soft ambient light downward through its precision-angled interior, crafted by Oluce.
The Pascal 345/L floor lamp’s dual-circuit switch allows independent operation of its two light sources, offering both upward and downward illumination for versatile lighting control. This intelligent design transforms the Pascal floor lamp by Oluce into both a statement piece and a functional reading light, reflecting Vico Magistretti’s legacy of merging artistic vision with everyday usability in modern design spaces.
