Developed in three distinct versions—pendant lamp, pendant with vertical movement, and wall lamp—the series showcases a sleek aluminium bar, meticulously refined with expert mechanical detailing to house the light source.
The Ilo 187 wall lamp, maintaining the proportions of its vertical movement counterpart, features a fixed square plate that anchors it to the wall. A pivoting mechanism enables 360° rotation, offering versatile lighting solutions and aesthetic adaptability, ideal for tailored illumination needs.
A 90° adjustable lighting body allows for both ambient and directional illumination, making it a perfect fit for contemporary interiors. Merging functionality with architectural finesse, the Ilo collection by Oluce is a testament to Quincoces' ability to blend industrial precision with refined aesthetics, enhancing modern spaces with its sophisticated design.
David Lopez Quincoces
David Lopez Quincoces (Madrid, 1980) is an internationally acclaimed designer known for his minimalist and sophisticated approach to architecture and industrial design, as showcased in the Ilo 187 for Oluce.
Graduating in Art from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and earning a Master’s in Interior Design from the Politecnico di Milano, he has been living and working in Milan since 2005. Over the years, he has collaborated with Piero Lissoni on numerous high-end projects, including luxury hotels, resorts, and private residences worldwide.
In 2007, he founded Quincoces-Dragò & Partners, an architecture and design studio based in Milan and Madrid, working with elite brands such as Dr.Smood, Lema, Trussardi, Potocco, Brera, and Living Divani.
His innovative design philosophy blends timeless elegance with contemporary aesthetics, making him one of the leading figures in modern design, influencing the evolution of lighting and interior spaces globally.
