Designed by Mariana Pellegrino Soto in 2019, the Amanita 319 lamp embodies sculptural elegance and technical precision. Its defining structure consists of two metal discs—the slender lower disc serving as a base, while the upper disc houses the integrated LED light source.
These elements are connected by a dynamic Z-shaped oblique stem, lending the lamp a distinctive architectural presence. Designed as a refined reading lamp, Amanita 319 delivers a soft, focused illumination, making it an ideal addition to sophisticated interiors.
The outdoor version transforms Amanita 319 into an elegant path light, with adjusted proportions and durable materials. Finished in a rich Indian brown, this variation harmonizes seamlessly with outdoor landscapes, enhancing gardens, pathways, and public spaces with its understated yet striking form.
Mariana Pellegrino Soto
Mariana Pellegrino Soto is a contemporary designer known for her innovative approach to lighting and product design. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she moved to Italy to study at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Rome, where she excelled in Product Design.
During her studies, she won the Best Packaging Award at the 2016 Global Bottled Water Awards. Her collaboration with Oluce led to the successful production of her thesis project, solidifying her presence in the design industry.
Currently, she works as a design developer for F&N Compositi, continuously exploring new materials and aesthetic solutions in contemporary lighting design.
